How big of a solar system do I need?

size your system based on your past 12 months of energy use.
What inverters do you use?
We use microinverters and partner with top brands like Enphase, APsystems, and
SolarEdge for maximum performance.
What will my electric bill be after solar?
Most of your bill will be offset by your solar system. You’ll still see a small utility charge
for connection fees and taxes—usually $25–$45 per month.
Can you size my system based on the square footage?
Not exactly. Home size doesn’t show energy use. We need to review your last 12 months of usage to design the right system.

We work with tile, composition shingle, and flat roofs.
What roofing materials do you use?
We install Owens Corning, one of the top roofing brands for durability and protection.
How do I know my roof size?
Roofing is measured in “squares.” For example, a roof that’s 1,800 sq ft = 18 squares
(we divide total sq ft by 100).
How can I find out the exact size of my roof?
The easiest way is to check your home’s architectural plans or use online mapping tools to estimate roof dimensions. For the most accurate results, our roofing experts can measure your roof directly, taking into account slopes, angles, and any irregular sections to provide precise square footage.

What batteries do you install?
We’re certified to install leading brands: Tesla, Franklin, Neovolta, Savant, Q Cells,
and Enphase.
Do you submit SGIP applications?
Yes. As of September 2025, SGIP rebates are available. If you live in a high fire zone and have medical baseline needs (like a CPAP machine), you may qualify for the highest rebate levels.
What battery sizes are available?
Systems can go up to 30 kWh, which may qualify for up to $30,000 in rebates. (Rebate amounts depend on many factors—contact us to see what you qualify for.)
How long will my battery last?
On average, batteries provide 8–12 hours of backup power, depending on your usage and how many batteries you install.
ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units)
What is the standard size for an ADU?
It depends on your lot size, but California allows up to 1,200 sq ft.
Can I build a 2-story ADU?
Yes, it’s possible—but we’ll need to check city requirements first.
Can you help with permits?
